Hardin Ray Hodges

Mr. Hardin Ray "Tiny" Hodges, 70, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012. Mr. Hodges was born February 22, 1942, in Surry County, to the late John Lee and Lena Felts Hodges. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Marion Hodges of the home; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jessica M. Parsons of Tabor City, Stacy and Jonathan Unger of Ahoskie, and Rachel Gilbert of Mount Airy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Darel Wray and Jodie Hodges and Darin and Sharon Hodges, all of Mount Airy; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Troy Lee and Betty Hodges and Arliss and Faye Hodges, all of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Hodges and Paul Gray Hodges. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at New Life Pentecostal Church. Moody Funeral Home is assisting the Hodges family.
