Harold Eugene Warren

Mr. Harold Eugene Warren, 69, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Warren was born November 24, 1941, in Hickory, to Clyde and Ruby Abercrombie Warren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be dearly missed by all his family and many friends. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Collins Warren of the home; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Warren of Mount Airy, Eric and Christie Warren of Mooresville, and Michael Warren of Mount Airy; grandchildren, Christopher Warren, Laken Warren, Eric Warren, Jr., Emily Warren, Hadley Warren, and Emerson Warren; and a sister, Gertrude Monday of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Warren was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Warren. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Steve Lindsley, the Rev. Trent Lyons, and Dr. David Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
