Eaton, all of Ararat, VA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eaton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Hattie Irene Hall Eaton; three brothers, Famzo Eaton, Lonzie E. Eaton, and John Lee Eaton; two sisters, Irene Collins and Nellie Eaton; and three brothers-in-law, J.D. Hall, Alvin Hiatt, and the Rev. Lacy M. Puckett. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Dean Eaton officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife, Hattie Irene Hall Eaton at Oakdale Cemetery, with military honors by VFW Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:30 at the funeral home. "Daddy was a wonderful Christian father, brother, uncle, and friend and will be greatly missed by the family and all who knew and loved him. Our loss is heaven's gain."
