Harvey Henry Goad

Mr. Harvey Henry Goad Age 82 of Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Thursday February 14, 2013 at the Dunmore Plantation in Dobson, NC. Mr. Goad was born October 3, 1930 in Surry County to the late Ernest H. and Pearl Bennett Goad. Mr. Goad was a florist for Cockerham's Florist for many years. Surviving is his wife Gaynor Moles Goad of the home, one daughter Hazel Goad Lovill of Mt. Airy, one son and daughter-in-law Ray and Brenda Goad of Mt. Airy, two grandchildren and spouse, Jill and Daniel Vanbriesen of Atlanta, GA. And James C. Goad of Mt. Airy and one sister and brother-in-law Clois and Rev. Tommy Smith of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents Mr. Goad was preceded in death by two brothers Louis James Goad and Jimmy Goad. Services for Mr. Goad will be private and Moody Funeral Services of Mt. Airy will be assisting the Goad Family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane Suite 200 Mt.
