Harvey Moir Goins

         Mr. Harvey Moir Goins, age 74 of Stuart, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on September 13, 1945, to the late Frank Goins and Lena Bowman Goins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Williams and one brother, James Goins. He served in the Army and was a hardworking, caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.

        Surviving are his devoted wife of 46 years, Annis Thompson Goins of the home; one daughter, Lori Williams of Stuart, Virginia; one son, Eddie Williams of Stuart, Virginia; one granddaughter, Deena Williams; one sister, Marie Hooker and husband, Bud of Mount Airy, North Carolina; two brothers, Roger Goins and wife, Georgia of Clarksville Tennessee; Mike Goins of Mount Airy, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Polly Goins of Stuart, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Wayne Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Maple Shade Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
