Harvey Thomas Gwynn

Mr. Harvey Thomas Gwynn, age 71 of Mt. Airy passed away April 18, 2007 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Gwynn was born August 23, 1935 to the late Tom David and Nancy Louella Dean Gwynn. He was a retired sawmill worker. He is survived by two sons, Dale and Larry Ashburn both of Mt. Airy; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Ethel and Johnny Slate, Julie and John Hicks, Lorraine, Jimmy Galyean and Audene and Donnie Slate all of Mt. Airy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Brenda Gwyn, Larry and Sheila "Penny" Gwyn all of Mt. Airy, Dennis and Pauline Gwyn of Gladesboro, VA. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Randy Edwards. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 PM Friday evening at Faith Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Lorraine Galyean 164 Combs St, Mt. Airy. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is assisting the Gwynn Family.
