Hazel Faye McCraw

Mrs. Hazel Faye Griffith McCraw, age 79, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, December 04, 2019, at the Woltz Hospice Home.  Mrs. McCraw was born in Mount Airy on February 14, 1940, to the late Edgar Seldon and Dula Cordelia Gates Griffith.  She retired from Northern Hospital, and was a faithful member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where she was a charter member and former organist.  Surviving is her devoted husband, Paul McCraw; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Crystal McCraw; a grandson, Blake McCraw and wife Sarah; a great grandson, Brady Paul McCraw; a brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Mary Jane Griffith; a nephew Danny Griffith and wife Judy; and cousins, Audrey Riggs, Gray Kirkman, Dennis Love, Sarah Ruth Throckmorton and Carol Jessup.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 8, 2019, Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Benfield officiating.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the church Saturday night beginning at 6:00 PM.
