Hedy Sue Wright

Ms. Sue “Susie” Hayes Wright, age 58, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Surry County July 8, 1961 to Nancy Jones Hayes and the late George Wayne Hayes II.  She was a loving mother, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories along with her mother are her daughter Amanda Sue Wright and fiancé David Sizemore; grandchildren, Aliyah and Adison Sizemore; sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen Hayes Bowlin, and Sheila and Larry Ramey; brother, George Hayes III as well as several nieces and nephews, a special friend Phillip McMillian and her beloved pet Gizzy. In addition to her father, Ms. Wright was preceded in death by her son, Alan Wright.  A memorial service service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Blues Grove Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Travis Sechrist and Rev. Sammy Lawson.
