Helen Ruth Kuehlke Beard

Mrs. Helen Ruth Kuehlke Beard, age 87, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on October 16, 2023, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  She was born in Hudson County, New Jersey to the late Rudolf Kuehlke and the late Erna Danz Kuehlke on July 20, 1936.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Beard.  Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and son-in-law, Cindy McMillin and her husband, J.B., and Lauren Defusco; sons, Thomas Defusco and Stephen Defusco; five grandchildren, Bryan Defusco, Johnathan McMillin and his wife Angela,  Brooke McMillin Hutchens and husband Matthew, Taylor Defusco, Leigh-Ayne Cooper; four great-grandchildren, Cole McMillin, Wyatt Hutchens, Logan McMillin, Briggs Hutchens.  The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.  There will be no services held at the funeral home.  Moody-Davis Funeral Service is serving the Beard family.  There will be no formal services held at the funeral home.
