Helen Louise (Turney) Brewer

Mrs. Helen Louise Turney Brewer, age 76, of Pilot Mountain passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Brewer was born in Forsyth County to the late Hubert Joseph and Rema Boyles Turney.  Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories is her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Simpson Carlisle and husband Randy; grandchildren, Ben Long and wife Sasha, Danielle Long; one great-grandchild, Oliver Long; step grandchildren, Erica Carlisle, Kelsey Carlisle, Christopher Carlisle.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Ernest Brewer; two sisters, Ruth Turney Gammons, Cynthia Turney Hundley; three brothers, Raymond Turney, Ralph Turney, and Moir Turney.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services is serving the family.
