Helen Louise Dezern Wall

Ms. Helen Louise Dezern Wall, age 80, of Elkin, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 6, 1943, in Surry County, to the late Foley Montgomery Dezern and the late Elsie Izella Evans Dezern. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lihu Wall; sister, Lois Johnson; brothers-in-law Jack Johnson and Bob Newman; and nephews, Jackie Johnson and Bill Newman. 

            Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles “Mickey” Wall and Sheryl Wall; and her sister, Betty Newman; and a niece and several nephews; and a special friend, Doris Watson. Ms. Wall was a loving mother, sister and friend to all who knew her, and a member of Bessie’s Chapel Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Bessie’s Chapel Baptist Church. Services will begin at 2:00 PM, in the church, with Rev. Don Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Wall family.
