Helen Gail Robertson Gwyn

Mrs. Helen Gail Robertson Gwyn, 53, of 126 Central Drive, Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Gwyn was born August 1, 1955, in Surry County, daughter of the late Anderson and Irene Galyean Robertson. She was retired from Renfro Corporation. Surviving are a son, Anthony Jones and his fiance, Lauren Cox, of Hillsville, VA; a stepson, Jonathan White of Florida; a grandson, Christian Jones of Fancy Gap, VA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessie Stevens of Mount Airy, Anne and Faron Deatherage of Cana, VA, Virginia and Howard Dawson of Lowgap, Linda and Johnny Noah of Dobson, Shelvia Snow of Lowgap, Anthylene and Danny Haynes of Dobson, and Annie and Lewis Edwards of Lowgap; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vestal and Beulah Robertson of Lowgap, Wade Robertson of Lowgap, and Gary and Ruth Robertson of Pilot Mountain. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gwyn was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Debbie Gwyn; a brother, Clarence Robertson; and a sister, Carlene Robertson. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Lester Bryant. No formal visitation will be held at the funeral home.
