Helen Louise Burden Robinson

Mrs. Helen Louise Burden Robinson, 64, of 115 Cornelius Avenue, Mount Airy, passed away Friday, June 19, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Robinson was born August 16, 1944, in Hamilton County, TN, to the Arnold B. and Agnes Shannon Burden. She retired from Russell Corporation and was a member of Mount Airy Church of God. Surviving are her husband, Paul Robinson of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tommy and Dina Burden of Mount Airy and Patrick Robinson of the home; a stepdaughter, Sharon Robinson of Southern Pines; two stepsons and their wives, Mark and Lori Robinson of Cana, VA, and Dale and Barbara Robinson of Sanford; two grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Lorine Hornaday of Mount Airy, Freda Farley of North Salem, IN, and Sarah Burden and Orlo Clifton of Mount Airy; and a brother and sister-in-law, Arnold Eugene and Pat Burden of Mansfield, OH. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Brandy Hawks Robinson. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Powers officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
