Helen Dorothy Crosby Scott

Mrs. Helen Dorothy Crosby Scott, 66, of 173 Chilton Road, Ararat, passed away Monday morning, January 16, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Mount Airy. Mrs. Scott was born November 12, 1945, in Worcester County, MA, the daughter of the late Wesley Bing and Dorothy Chambers Crosby. She worked as a toll collector for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority for nearly 10 years and was a member of The Salvation Army. She is survived by her husband, Robert James "Rob" Scott of the home; a twin sister, Joyce Crosby of Massachusetts; and a brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Donna Crosby of Bangor, ME. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy will be in charge of the cremation. There are no local services planned.
