Helmut Alois Becker

Mr. Helmut Alois Becker, 82, of Ararat, VA passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023.  He was born in Bronx, New York on November 7, 1940, to the late Alois and Mary Markovits Becker.  Mr. Becker retired from Henderson Few and was of the Catholic faith.  He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Sinisi Becker; a daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Miller and Lee Hiatt; a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene V. and Michelle Becker; grandchildren, Kristin M. Becker, Megan and Austin Montgomery, Vincent D. Becker; great grandchild, Simon M. Montgomery; nephews and niece, Terence V. Cooney, Joseph R. Cooney, Lisa E. Cooney .  In addition to his parents, Mr. Becker was preceded in death by a brother, Kurt G. Becker; a sister, Erika Sokasits.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at  Hiatt–Becker Family Cemetery in Ararat, VA.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
