Henry Rufus East

Mr. Henry Rufus East, 66, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy. He was born in California December 17, 1955, to the late Henry and Nancy Knight East. Mr. East was a very faithful servant to God, wonderful husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was willing to help everyone. He is survived by his wife, Christine Lynne Elwood East; a daughter, Kari East; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Ashley East, and Daniel East; a precious grandson Henry East; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Nancy and Garry Havens, Jackie Pelzor, and Shari East. In addition to his parents, Mr. East was preceded in death by his brother Gary East. A celebration of Life service is planned for later.
