Herbert Ogle

Mr. Herbert Clarence Ogle, 73 of Ararat, Virginia passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.  Mr. Ogle was born on September 7, 1947 to the late Henry and Lucy Guynn Ogle in Carroll County, Virginia.  Mr. Ogle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Carlene Gwynn Ogle; a son, Larry Lee Ogle; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Ogle Rigney and Robert; three grandchildren, Austin Rigney, Madison Rigney, and Kadyn Rigney; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Clifton Thomas, Helen and Wade McMillian, and Sherry and Stanley Holt.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ogle was preceded in death by one grandson, Jaxon Rigney; a sister, Laura Ann Ogle, two brothers, Lefty Ogle and Terry Ogle.  A memorial service will be held in Moody Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Mount Airy with Rev.
