Hilda Faye Nichols

Miss Hilda Faye Nichols, 85, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Golden Living Center. She was born December 23, 1924, in Surry County, to the late Thomas and Filomena Miglore Nichols. Miss Nichols retired from the textile business and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by three nieces and their husbands, Marisa V. and Bo Miller of Mount Airy, Molly and Kenny Clark of Clemmons, and Nancy and John Moore of Charlotte; a nephew, Grayson Vaughn and his fiancée, Emily Smith, of Mount Airy; and two sisters, Nancy N. Vaughn of Mount Airy Barbara Shelton of Clemmons. In addition to her parents, Miss Nichols was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Shaw; and a brother, Jack Nichols. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Skyline Memory Gardens, by the Rev. Wesley Boyles, Jr. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.
