Hobert Edwin Edwards

Mr. Hobert Edwin Edwards Age 87 of 561 T & T Lane Cana, VA. passed away Sunday morning October 9, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Galax, VA. Mr. Edwards was born March 3, 1924 in Surry County to the late Betty Edwards was retired from Mt. Airy Furniture Co. and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving is one sister Oma Jane Edwards of the home. In addition to his mother Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by a brother Bernie Edwards. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cana Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Larry Jones with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night 6 to 8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
