Hobert Franklin "Frank " Simmons

Mr. Hobert Franklin "Frank" Simmons, Age 83, of 156 Hathaway Lane Pilot Mountain, NC. passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Mr. Simmons was born in Surry County on April 24, 1930 to the late Hobert and Ola Cook Simmons. Mr. Simmons was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict and was retired from R. J. Reynolds . He is survived by his wife Chrystal Turman Simmons of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Marcus Phillips of Hillsville, Va. and Lisa and Gerald Kearns of Winston Salem, two grandsons Neal Willard and his wife Heather of Pilot Mountain and Jonathan Willard of Charlotte, one great grandson Nixon Franklin Willard, one sister Juanita Anauo of Alabama, one brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Barbara Simmons of Lilburn, GA, a half-sister Sondra Folsom and husband Mark of Walnut Cove and a half-brother Steve Simmons of Clemmons. There will be no formal service for Mr. Simmons. The family will be receiving friends at the home 156 Hathaway Lane Pilot Mountain, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC. 27103.
