Ila Faye Moseley

Mrs. Ila Faye Dotson Moseley, age 93, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at Grayson Health and Rehab. Mrs. Moseley was born in Carroll County on August 24, 1930, to the late Burton Lee Dotson and Fannie Cox Dotson. She had retired from the Surry County Sheriff’s Office as a detention officer. Surviving Mrs. Moseley is a daughter and son-in-law, Melody Spurlin and Butch; daughter-in-law, Martha Lineberry; son-in-law, Gus Hill; grandchildren and their spouses, Robby Spurlin, Megan Beamer and Colby, Melinda Hill and Tommy Young, Jennifer Lineberry, Amy Walsh and Brett; great-grandchildren and their spouses, Dylan Roberts, Paige Halsey and Jason, Tyler Hill and Micah, Damon Hill and Reanna, Jade Shepard, Tayler Shepard, Devon Newman, Jasper Wilmoth, Creed Wilmoth, Ila Kay Wilmoth, Everly Beamer, Ella Beamer, Lincoln Beamer; great great-grandchild, Carter Hill; sister, Eula Tate. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moseley was preceded in death by her husband Bill Moseley; daughter, Linda Hill; son, Roger Lineberry; grandchildren, Larry Lundy, Harold Hill, Gary Hill; great grandchild, Kason Wilmoth; brother, Junior Dotson. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 3:30 PM at Union Primitive Baptist Church with the Bro. Butch Spurlin officiating. There will be no formal visitation held at this time.  Flowers will be accepted or donation's may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Moseley Family.
