Ima Faye Dickerson Jones

Ima Faye Dickerson Jones, 85, of Universal Health Care, King, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County, October 31, 1924, to the late Squire and Ida Carico Dickerson. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Jones, Sr.; a brother, Jack Dickerson; a sister, Betty Ann Livengood; and a brother-in-law, Junior Willard. Mrs. Jones is survived by two sons and a daughter, George H. Jones, Jr. and wife Judy of Mount Airy, Leo Jones and wife Carolyn of Mount Airy, and Vicky Williams and husband Elwood of Morehead City. She is also survived by three granddaughters and one grandson, Tammy and husband Eric Morrison of Clemmons, Kathy and husband Gerald Lackey of Pilot Mountain, Crystal and husband Mitch Fulcher of Beaufort, and Brad and wife Brandy Jones of Mount Airy; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa Lackey, Logan and Jacob Fulcher, and Brayden Jones; three brothers and a sister, Roy and wife Evelyn Dickerson of Clarksville, TN, Bob and wife Millie Dickerson of Carrollton, VA, Bill and wife Lupe Dickerson of Mount Airy, and Lib Willard of Carrollton, VA; a sister-in-law, Peggy Dickerson of Mount Airy; a brother-in-law, Hobert Livengood of Mount Airy; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 8, 2010, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Todd Byrd. Entombment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
