Ina Scott McMillian

Mrs. Ina Scott McMillian age 92 1297 Galax Trail Mt. Airy. widow of Everett C. McMillian passed away Friday July 6, 2007 at Twelve Oak Rest Home and Alzheimer Unit in Mt. Airy. Mrs. McMillian was born July 13, 1914 in Patrick County to the late Thomas Taylor Scott and Ethel Hiatt Scott, she was retired from Spencer's Corporation and was a member of Grace Moravian Church. Mrs. McMillian was also a long time member of the Northern Hospital of Surry County Auxiliary where she served as a Pink Lady. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law Hubert and Hazel McMillian of Mt. Airy and Maynard and Carolyn McMillian of Greensboro, six grandchildren and spouses Sheryl and Tim Eaves of Mayodan, Janet and Chad Hull, Patricia and Todd Tolbert and Pam and Brian Stone all of Mt. Airy, Brad McMillian of Greensboro and Scott and Amy McMillian of Raleigh, ten great grandchildren and one sister Elsie Montgomery of Mt. Airy. In addition to her husband and parents Mrs. McMillian was preceded in death by a sister Marie Rodriquez and a brother Carlie Scott. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Charles Fishel with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday night 7 to 9 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
