Infant Sylvia Marie Hughes of 414 Warren Bridge Road, Union Grove, NC daughter of Steve Lawrence Hughes, Jr. and Mariah Mercedes Hughes went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 25, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born July 25, 2013 in Forsyth County, NC. Surviving are her parents, Steve L. and Mariah Hughes, Jr. of the home, maternal grandparents, Timothy Ray Cooke and Debra Ann Cooke, Mt. Airy, Steve Lawrence Hughes, Sr. and Donna Mae Hughes, Ararat, VA, maternal great grandmother, Annie G. Oakley, Union Grove, the Shulte Family and the McComb Family of CA and paternal great grandmother, Mary Jane Brummitt. Boston, MA, several aunts and uncles, and several cousins. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy. The service will be conducted by Rev. Sydney Charnley of Eternity Funeral Ceremonies. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 noon Wednesday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home. "We Love her to the moon and back".
