Infant Owen Raymond Michael Parnell passed away at birth on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He is survived by his mother, Samantha Nicole Turner of Stuart; his father, Adam Matthew Parnell of Bassett; maternal grandparents, Mike and Phyllis M. Turner of Stuart; paternal grandparents, Wink and Kathy Parnell of Bassett; maternal great-grandparents, Joy Turner and Virginia Mabe, both of Stuart; paternal great-grandparents, Ethel Parnell of Bassett and Irene Hancock of Patrick Springs; and step-grandmother, Judy Turner of Critz.
