Irene Bonnett Webb

Mrs. Irene Bonnett Webb, 92, of Davidson, NC, formerly of Mt. Airy, NC, died on May 28, 2007, at The Pines at Davidson. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Locke Webb. Mrs. Webb graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in home economics. She was a member of Davidson College Presbyterian Church, and formerly of First Baptist Church in Mt. Airy. Survivors include her daughters, Patty (Ralph) Levering of Davidson, NC, and Carolyn (Dan) Powers, Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Matthew (Joy) Levering, Brooks (Heather Viola) Levering; step grandchildren, Larry, Kirby, and Michael Powers; great grandchildren, David, Andrew, Irene , John, and Daniel Levering, and Jack Brooks Levering; sisters-in-law, Mary Rowe and Christine Beamer and husband, Maynard; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Linda Jones for the years of wonderful, life-giving care that she gave Mrs. Webb. They would also like to thank the staff of The Pines, especially those in the healthcare wing, who provided such excellent care for Mrs. Webb and support for her family. The funeral service will be at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy, NC, on Friday, June 1, at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Charles Raynal officiating. Visitation will take place beginning at 12:30 PM, prior to the service. There will be a reception at The Pines, Saturday, June 2, 11:00 am-12, in the Living Room.
