Isaac William Stockner

Mr. Isaac William Stockner, age 92, of Fancy Gap, VA, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Wadell Nursing & Rehab. Mr. Stockner was born in Carroll County on December 28, 1926, to Claude and Marie Payne Stockner. He proudly served our country in both the United States Army and United States Air Force. Mr. Stockner was a hardworking, Christian man who will be dearly missed. He is survived by a stepson, David Semones; a stepdaughter Susan Burnette; sisters, Nita Martin and Jean Bowman; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Stockner Family Cemetery with full military honors by the Grover King VFW Post 1115 of Hillsville.
