Isetta Jewell Price Nunn

Mrs. Isetta Jewell Price Nunn, 84, of 843 Round Peak Church Road, Mount Airy, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009, at her home. Mrs. Nunn was born July 26, 1924, in Harrison County, WV, daughter of the late William and Bernice Dye Price. She was an inspector at Proctor-Silex Inc. for many years and a member of the Protestant faith. She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Nunn of Lowgap; a son, Mark Nunn of Mount Airy; two grandchildren, Ashley Nunn and John Nunn, both of Mount Airy; and two sisters, Vera Hojecki of Encino, CA, and Terry Shields of Monroeville, PA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nunn was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brisco Nunn; a daughter, Barbara Nunn; a son, Brisco Nunn; a daughter-in-law, Louise Riley Nunn; and four sisters, Jeanette Price, Harriet Mussey, Lillian Tosadoria, and Reva Crawford. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 29, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Jack Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
