Jackey Lynn Ramey

Mr. Jackey Lynn Ramey, 45, of Old Westfield Road, Pilot Mountain, NC, husband of Janette Brannock Ramey, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Ramey was born July 15, 1961, in Galax, VA, son of the late Jay J. and Diana "Dannie" Harmon Ramey. He was a self-employed building contractor and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Janette Brannock Ramey of the home; two daughters, Courtney Ramey and Madison Ramey, both of the home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and James Smith of Mount Airy and Patsy and Daniel Clyburn of Fries, VA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Dian Ramey of Winston-Salem and C.L. and Linda Ramey of King; and twenty-two nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Gwyn. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Chapel in Mount Airy with the service conducted by Rev. Joel Stephens with burial to follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The Ramey family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the hour of the funeral service.
