James Allen Quesinberry

Mr. James Allen Quesinberry, age 72, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday evening, December 16, 2024, at Northern Regional Hospital. Mr. Quesinberry was born in Grayson County, Virginia, on January 20, 1952, to the late Morgan Quesinberry and his adopted mother Cora Bowman Puckett. Mr. Quesinberry was a man of many traits, there wasn’t much that he couldn’t do. He had retired from working as a floor tech for Central Continuing Care. Surviving Mr. Quesinberry is sisters and brother-in-law, Louisa Freeman, Marie Jessup and Rayford, Nancy Pruitt; brother and sister-in-law, Clinton Quesinberry and Betty; several nieces and nephews; special niece and her husband, Angie “Yogie” Easter and Dennis; special nephew and his wife, Tommy Quesinberry and Amy; special friend and his loving care giver, Linda Thomas. In addition to his parents, Mr. Quesinberry was preceded in death by his fur baby, “Pixie”; sisters, Imogene Melton, Francis Beck; brother, Ellis Quesinberry. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2 PM at The Community Church, with the Rev. Dana Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Quesinberry family.
