James Albert Angel

Mr. James Albert Angel, 58, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Angel was born July 1, 1950, in Surry County, to Jeanell Urps Angel and the late Lester Warren Angel. He was employed at L.S. Starrett and a member of Haymore Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Jeanell Urps Angel; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jeff Wood of Jonesville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Amanda Fletcher of King and Marcus and April Angel of Mount Airy; four grandchildren, Jackson Fletcher, Cassidee Fletcher, Todd McCraw, and McKinley Wood; and an aunt, Jessie Angel of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Robert McCrary, and burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
