James William "Tank" Beck

Mr. James William “Tank” Beck, age 64, of Dobson, NC passed away on Friday morning June 3, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center, in Winston-Salem, NC.  He was born in Yadkin County on June 7, 1957, to the late Carl Andrew Beck and survived by his mother Mary Ruth Bledsoe Beck.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chance Beck; sister, Charlotte Elaine Beck.  He was a retired Truck Driver, a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.  Surviving is his wife Pamela Yontz Beck; two sons, Nick and Tommy Beck; granddaughter, Mattie Beck; brothers and sister-in-law, Terry and Ellen Beck, Ricky "Gabby" Beck, Tony Beck; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Nancy Yontz.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Curtis Ponder, Rev. Jeff Wall, and Rev. Mark Newman will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
