James Michael Bowman

Mr. James Michael Bowman, age 54 of Claudville, Virginia passed away Saturday morning at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. He was born in Danbury, NC on June 12, 1958 to R.L. Jackson Bowman and Barbara Arlene Bowman. Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his father, R.L. Jackson Bowman; a son; James Michael Bowman, Jr. and a brother, Dennis Jewel Bowman. He was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Mr. Bowman is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carolyn Marie Bowman of the home; a daughter, Sayra Bowman of Claudville; a son, Joshua Michael Bowman of Claudville; his mother, Barbara Arlene Bowman; five brothers: Eugene Bowman of Mt. Airy, Roger Bowman of Mt. Airy, Sammy Bowman of Claudville, Lonnie Bowman of Dry Pond and Clinton Bowman of Claudville; four sisters: Shelby Willard of Claudville, Teresa Pack of Claudville, Martha Bowman of Reidsville, NC and Cindy Land of Madison, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Bowman will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 11:00a.m at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rev. Ricky Adkins and Pastor Alfred Hylton officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church cemetery.
