James Albert Brady, Jr.

Mr. James Albert Brady, Jr., 77, of Mount Airy passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Surry County on March 18, 1941 to the late, James Albert Brady, Sr. and Isabelle Johnson Brady.  Mr. Brady was a Building Contractor, and was of the Baptist faith.  He is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine Jane Edwards Brady of the home; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Brady; grandchildren, Heather Brady and Hannah Brady; one great grandchild; sister, Peggy Frye; a sister-in-law, Sandra Sue Edwards; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Brady was preceded in death by a son, Darren James Edward Brady; sisters, Patsy Brady Frye, Mildred Brady Arrington; a brother, Robert Percy Brady.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Moore and the Rev. Tony White officiating.  Burial will follow in Rocky Ford Christian Church.  The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
