James Edward Casstevens

Mr. James Edward Castevens, II Age 33 , Mt. Airy, NC passed away Saturday December 23, 2006 at the Doshier Hospital in Southport, NC. Mr. Casstevens was born August 17, 1973 in Waco, TX to Joy Richmond Castevens and late James Edward Castevens. He was employed by Rogers Knitting and was of the Christian Faith. Surviving are his mother, Joy R. Castevens, of the home, a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Jonathan Love, Mt. Airy, NC, Simon and Diane Castevens, Westfield, NC, Shane and Karen Castevens, Mt. Airy, NC, grandmother, Beatrice Richmond, Burkeville, TX, several nieces and nephews, several uncles and aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Grace Covenant Church conducted by Rev. Dennis Barnett. Burial will follow in the Castevens Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Monday night at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy where his body will remain until carried to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
