James Lynwood Clark, Jr.

          James Lynwood Clark, Jr., age 51, of Critz, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 at Sovah Health in Danville.  He was born in Henry County to James Leonard Clark, Sr. and Earlene Baker Clark of Critz.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Mary Baker; and his paternal grandfather, George Moir Clark.  James was a member of Shiloh Way of the Cross Church in Martinsville.  He loved his family and never met a stranger.  He loved to cut grass and help his father as they were two peas in a pod.  He was known for remembering birthdates of all who knew him.

          Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Nichole Clark and Shannon Clark both of Martinsville; paternal grandmother, Ida Clark of Critz; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

          Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 12:00 at Shiloh Way of the Cross Church with Bishop Earley Dillard officiating.  Burial will be private.  A wake will be held 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Way of the Cross Church, P.O.
