James Michael Dixon

Mr. James Michael Dixon, 54, husband of Mrs. Cynthia Diane Dixon, of Thomasville passed away on Sunday September 20, 2009 at High Point Regional Hospital after and extended illness. He was born in Surry County on April 7, 1955 to the late Austin Avery and Hattie Elizabeth McCann. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane of the home; a daughter, Mandy Dixon Freeman and a son Christopher Michael Dixon all of Lexington; six grandchildren Savanna Freeman, Austin Freeman, Hannah Higgins, Christen Dixon, Brad Dixon and Seth Kidd; two sisters, Irene and Rev. Ray Parrish of Lowgap and Deborah and Mark Mayes of Mt. Airy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Margaret Dixon of High Point, David and Frances Dixon of Woodlawn, VA and Sammy and Tina Dixon of Lowgap; special friends, John and Michelle Dickens of Thomasville. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday by Rev. Randy Parrish at Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Rev. Ray and Irene Parrish of Lowgap following the service.
