James Edward "Eddie" Robertson

Mr. James Edward “Eddie”  Robertson, age 63, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away at his home on Thursday, June 29, 2023.  He was born in Surry County on December 29, 1959, to Shelby Jean Doss Robertson and to the late James Clarence “JC” Robertson.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Robertson.  Eddie loved his Savior Jesus Christ and his family with all his heart.  He had a huge love for others, and always tried to see the good in everyone.  Surviving is his loving wife of 39 years, Doris Ann Easter Robertson; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Nicole and Mac Casstevens; son and daughter-in-law, James Stephen and Brandi Robertson; grandchildren, Kassidy Casstevens, Bailey Robertson; his mother Shelby Jean Doss Robertson; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Michael Combs; brothers and sister-in-law, Greg Robertson, Mitch Robertson, Hank and Donna Robertson; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM July 4, 2023, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Amazing Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.  Dr. Jonathan Barker and Dr. Rick Jackson will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
