James Clifton Graham

         Mr. James Clifton Graham, age 95 of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.  He was born in Patrick County on July 18, 1923, to the late Ed Graham and Myrtle Cassell Graham.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Oleen Graham; a brother, Roy Graham; and a son-in-law, Garvin Hubbard.  He retired from Patrick County Public Schools where he was a school bus driver, had served in the United States Army, and was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

         Mr. Graham is survived by a daughter, Shirley Hubbard of Patrick Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Lona Graham of Stuart; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Drema and Dennie Joyce, Lavina Corns, Shanan and Barry Turner, Jeff and Michelle Graham, Bradley and Mary Ann Graham; Tammy and Mark Gammons; Susan and Duane Reynolds, Donna and Nigel Buist; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Dian and Larry Burnette; sister-in-law, Dorris Graham; and several nieces and nephews.

         Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor David Boarman.  Burial will follow in the John Adams Cemetery.  Military Rites provided by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Tuesday morning.  Memorial donations may be made to John Adams Cemetery, c/o Dian Burnette, 4603 Bull Mountain Road, Stuart, VA 24171.   Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
