Mr. James Cicero Gregory, Sr. Age 75 of 920 Laurel Springs Church Rd. Mt. Airy, husband of Mrs. Ina Mae Gregory passed away Sunday August 13, 2006 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Gregory was born July 22, 1931 in Surry County to the late James Elmer and Mary Ann Atkins Gregory, he was a retired dairy farmer and antique dealer. Mr. Gregory was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church was a member of Round Peak Masonic Lodge # 616 AF & AM for 50 Years. Surviving is his wife Mrs. Ina Mae Gregory of the home, One son and daughter-in-law James C. Gregory, Jr. and wife Sheila of Mt. Airy, Two daughters and son-in-law Cheryl and Doug Norman of Mt. Airy and Lynn Gregory of the home, granddaughters Jamie Dycus and husband Matt and Tara Michelle Norman all of Mt. Airy, grandson Pvt. Christopher Gregory of Mt. Airy, great grandchildren Carigon Dycus and Haylee Dycus, sisters Magdalene Stockton of Dobson and Colleen Barham of Mt. Airy, a brother Rex Gregory, Sr. of Mt. Airy special people (a cousin) Bonnie Inman of Mt. Airy and Darrell Huffman of the home and a special pet Ruby. In addition to his parents Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by a sister Maurine Smith and a brother Thurman Gregory. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 16, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Alton Bledsoe with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens where full Masonic rites will be conducted by Round Peak Masonic Lodge # 616 AF & AM. The family will receive friends Tuesday night 7 to 9 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 500 East Morehead St Suite 2211 Charlotte, NC., 28202.
