James Ray Jones

Mr. James Ray "Jimmie" Jones, 48, of Napoleon, IN, formerly of Cana, VA, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010. Mr. Jones was born September 29, 1962, in Surry County, to Raymond Jones and Nellie Mae Reed Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his fiancée, Valerie Anderson of the home; two daughters, Nicole Jones of Woodlawn, VA, and Maranda Williams of Maryland; a son, Joseph Jones of Winchester, VA; his father and stepmother, Raymond and Bessie Jones of Cana, VA; and his mother, Nellie Mae Reed Jones of Napolean, IN; and a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Donna Jones of Cana, VA. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Cahall. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at 1:00 PM at Jones-Fleming Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Easter officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from noon until the time to depart to the cemetery for the service.
