James Jeremiah O'Connell

Mr. James Jeremiah O'Connell, age 88 of Mt. Airy passed away at his home June 1, 2007. Mr.O'Connell was born in Harlaem, NY to the late Maurice James and Mary Clifford O'Connell. He was a retired structural iron worker, and attended Holy Angels Catholic Church. Mr. O'Connell is survived by his wife, Jeanette DeKoning O'Connell of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and David McKeon of Pattersonville, NY; three sons and daughters-in-law, James Jeremiah and Phyllis O'Connell of Wyckoff, NJ, Donald Leonard and Maureen O'Connell of East Williston, NY, and Dennis Maurice and Jean O'Connell of Westbury, NY; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-granchildren; one brother, Maurice O'Connell of Maine. In addition to his parents, Mr. O'Connell was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jean Maas and a son, Kevin Patrick O'Connell. There will be no formal visitation. The family is planning a memorial service at a later time.
