James Watson Snider

Mr. James Watson Snider, age 58 of Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Patrick County on April 3, 1960, to the late Watson Sanford Snider and Lucy Mae Shough Snider.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Felisha Poindexter.

Mr. Snider is survived by his children, Jamie Lee Snider and wife, Ariana of Bluefield, West Virginia, Christopher Snider of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Deanna Snider of Patrick Springs, Virginia, and Aaron Snider of Bassett, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Matthew Snider, Isabela Snider, Kira Barker, and Serenity Cassell.

Memorial services for Mr. Snider will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 p.m. in Stuart.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home Thursday evening with Pastor Mark Wright officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to James Watson Snider Memorial Fund, c/o Moody Funeral Home, P.O.
