James Lee Wicklow

Mr. James Lee Wicklow, 66, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday morning, March 22, 2013, at his home. He was born December 12, 1946, in Vallejo, CA, to the late Milton and Alberta Hoffman Wicklow. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Winston-Salem First Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he served as an Elder. Mr. Wicklow was the former owner and operator of Wicklow Enterprises. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Marques Wicklow of the home; two daughters, Wendy and James Wade of Washington and Donna Wicklow of Westfield; a son, Ian Wicklow of CA; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Janet and Gordon East of CO, Carol Griffith of OK, and Dawn Wicklow of Zionville, NC. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wicklow was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Wicklow. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Winston-Salem First Seventh Day Adventist Church. The service will be conducted by Pastor Bob Grant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Adventist Development Relief Agency. Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the Wicklow family.
