Jamie Fariss

Mrs. Jamie Lynn Fariss, 56, of Stuart, VA, passed away at Northern Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, July 3, 2021.  She was born in Avon, Ohio, July 23, 1964, to Lois Vaughn Stafford and the late James “Jim” Stafford.  Mrs. Fariss was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and relished the time she shared riding Harleys with her husband Jimmy.  Mrs. Fariss was known as a wonderful cook, making many special dishes and meals to share with family and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends from her kindness and love, and as her son would say, “ she was tougher than a $2.00 steak”.  Mrs. Fariss is survived by her husband Jimmy Randal Fariss; her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Steven Moles; her son Dylan Fariss; grandsons, Landon, Chandler, and Braxton; and a sister Paula Stafford.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Fariss was preceded in death by a sister Lisa Stana.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the Pack Family Cemetery in Ararat.  There will not be any formal visitation at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
