Jan Starr White

Mrs. Jan Starr Andrews White, age 58, of Elkin, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born March 8, 1963, in Surry County to David Bucie Andrews and the late LouJean Brindle Andrews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, C.L. White; and a special canine companion, Toby Bratt. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Terry Jason White; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Joey and Pam White, Clent and Emily White, and Brent and Melissa White; her mother-in-law, Helen Hall White; several nieces and nephews; canine companions, Layla Starr and Montana Quinn. Mrs. White was a member of Salem Fork Baptist Church and retired from the Surry County Health Department. Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. in the Salem Fork Baptist Church Life Center with Pastor Sean Joplin and Reverend Thomas Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the White Family.
