Jana Renea Hicks Hall

Mrs. Jana Hicks Hall, 49, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away at her home on Friday morning, January 7, 2022. She was born in Surry County on July 15, 1972, to the late O. Mark Hicks and the late Jane Carpenter Bean. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. She was a Day Therapeutic Counselor, TA at St. Paul’s Elementary School, the family caregiver, and the organizer of all of the families get togethers. She loved her animals and traveling to West Virginia. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 21 years, Christopher Wayne Hall; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Ana-Marie Sumner Johnson and Brandon; a son, Austin Brower Sumner; sister, Angela H. Atkins; brothers, Lloyd Hicks and Brian Hayes; and a host of other family and friends. A celebration of life for Jana will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Ivy Green Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Hudson, and Rev. Robert McCrary officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Hall family.
