Jane Martin

Mrs. Jane E. Martin, age 62, of Dobson, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Woltz Hospice Home.  Mrs. Martin was born in Surry County on September 8, 1955, to the late Denny and Evelyn O’Neal East.  Jane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory is her husband, Bro. Mike Martin; sons, Jason Martin and Eric Martin; her precious granddaughter, Kelsey Jayne Martin; sisters and brother-in-law, Scarlet and Junior Coalson, and Sue Alderman; and a brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Diann East.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 16, 2018, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Pastor Mickey Brooks and Pastor Jerry Pardue.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moody Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
