Jane Wimbish Weaver

Jane Wimbish Weaver, age 77 of Woolwine, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Surry County, North Carolina on September 14, 1938 to the late Walter Noel Weaver and Gertrude Wimbish Weaver. She was a member of Woolwine United Methodist Church. Jane never met a stranger. She loved people and all living things. As a special-needs person, Jane touched the lives of many.

She is survived by three sisters, Betty Weaver Perry of Woolwine, Judy Weaver Smith of Charlottesville, and Patricia Weaver Kline of Williamsburg; eight nieces and nephews; and eight great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Woolwine United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Woolwine Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, November 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in memory of Jane be made to the Patrick County Developmental Center c/o Penny Belcher, P.O. Box 785, Stuart, VA, 24171.
