Janice Mae Jones Kingsbury

Mrs. Janice Mae Jones Kingsbury, age 73 passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mrs. Kingsbury was born June 7, 1934 to the late Steve and Fannie Mae Brooks Jones. She was a homemaker and a former hairdresser. She is survived by her husband, James Kingsbury of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice Paige and Ricky Beane of Winston Salem; a son and daughter-in-law, James Steven and Pat Kingsbury of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Twain Steven Kingsbury of Mt. Airy, Loretta Anderson of Galax, VA; great grandchild, Marie Dawn Kingsbury of Westfield; special nieces and nephews, Lisa Snow of Dobson, Bernie and Jenny Jones of Winston Salem, Sandy Barnes and Mark Jones of Rural Hall; Special girls, Heather, Brooke and Valerie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kingsbury was preceded in death by a brother, Gurney Ray Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with burial to follow at Flat Top Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
